RCEP officially takes effect for Malaysia

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect for Malaysia on March 18. Starting from March 18, China and Malaysia have mutually fulfilled their commitments under the agreement on the opening up of trade in goods, trade in services and investment market access, and fulfilled their obligations in various fields such as trade facilitation, e-commerce, and intellectual property rights. The entry into force of RCEP in Malaysia will effectively promote the mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and investment between China and Malaysia, bring more dividends to the enterprises and people of the two countries, and will also be conducive to the complementarity and deep integration of regional industrial chains and supply chains. Regional and global economic growth brings new opportunities.
